Joe Biden delivered his much-anticipated speech commemorating the deadly riot at the US Capitol on 6/01/21 – a scathing speech in which he chastised Trump for watching Television as his followers stormed Parliament.
He also laughed at the idea that the insurgents were “heroes,” claiming that “you cannot love your nation only when you succeed.” You can’t just follow the law when it’s convenient for you.
You can’t be loyal if you believe and support lies.
“Those who assaulted this Capitol, as well as those who provoked and incited them to do so, and those who called on them to do so, held a knife to America’s throat, to American democracy.” They didn’t come for the sake of patriotism or principles. They were enraged and came here to vent their frustrations. Not in the service of America, but in the service of one individual.”
Following a fatal riot last year in which five people were murdered, some Democrats are thought to be privately considering how they could prevent Trump from running for government again.
Trump retaliated with three components in which he continued to express his frustrations and conspiracies regarding the 2020 election, as well as a demand for the “MAGA nation” to “stand up” against the Biden presidency regarding vaccine mandates.
